United States, Georgia, Atlanta Delta Professional Services... 27-Aug-2024 Ref #: 25904 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The part time Flights Ops Support role provides support to key projects and needs inside of Delta Air Lines Flight Operations. This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops Support should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part 121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas of focus. • Supports Flight Operations Employee Engagement & DEI team in developing and executing innovative methods to enhance employee engagement and experience. • Supports Flight Operations events strategy and coordinates event planning and logistics. • Assist in measuring success of events and initiatives. • Collaborates with cross-departmental teams, including Flight Operations Communications team, Propel, Pilot Outreach, and Training & Standards to effectively implement and communicate engagement initiatives. • Anticipates challenges and roadblocks and plans appropriately to mitigate risks as needed with critical thinking and decision-making capabilities. What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications) • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles. • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in event management, engagement, marketing, or related field. • Must have established organization skills and dedication to teamwork. • Must be curious, proactive, self-starting, highly motivated, people oriented, and reliable. • Must have a demonstrated experience executing multiple priorities in a timely fashion. • Must have a demonstrated ability of Microsoft Office programs. • Must be willing to travel and work evenings.
