Verification of Benefits Specialist

This position is for remote work only. Aspen Ridge Medical is an insurance Billing/ Utilization Management Company that caters specifically to Behavioral Health facilities across the country. Here at Aspen Ridge, we believe that bringing on employees who are self-driven, tactical, and team oriented has the most beneficial outcomes for our clients. VOB (Verification of Benefits,) Specialists will have the role of running benefits for clients who show interest in programs that we bill for. Benefits verification includes verifying the following information via phone call to the insurance, and in some cases, additional information per facility request: · Policy Coverage information. · Coverage Information, including; o Co-insurance, Co Pays, Deductibles, Out of Pockets · Authorization Requirements per service · Payment information for out of network facilities · Telehealth and Out of State coverage · Licensure/Accreditation requirements · Exclusions and Limitations pertaining to the services in question Requirements: -Must always have access to reliable internet and a computer. -Computer proficiency (Microsoft office, email, file management, etc.) -Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Good communication skills -Problem solving -Excellent time management and organizational skills. Pay and Hour Information: PLEASE NOTE- This is listed as a part-time position because there will not be enough VOB's needed in a day to meet full-time hours. This is on an as-needed basis. VOB’s will need to be ran daily, and any VOB provided before 2pm MST will need to be returned in the same business day. VOB’s provided after 2pm MST can be returned the following morning. Remote VOB specialists are paid $10 per VOB. This week, our company has averaged 10 VOBs per day. Some days will be higher than that, others may be lower.
