Residential Loan Processor

Purpose: The successful candidate must possess exceptional organizational and follow-through skills and will perform a variety of duties to process residential loans from application to closing. This will include processing loan files on a variety of loan portfolio products. You will provide borrower with real time updates as to the status of their loan along with requests for supplemental loan documentation. Ensure all disclosures forms that are sent to applicant are accurate and timely. Candidates must possess a strong sense of urgency with an ability to work in a team environment, maintaining excellent organizational, communication, time management and PC skills. J ob Functions: Prepare TRID compliant Change of Circumstances (COCs) and Loan Estimates (LEs) Review loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare the required disclosures Manage a large pipeline while meeting product specific turn time requirements Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified and complies with bank policy and guidelines Review and analyze all necessary documentation, including borrower docs and third-party docs Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income and assets as required by the particular loan program before submitting to underwriting. Order all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow-ups and ensures all timeframes and compliance requirements are being met Verify conditions of approval which may include customer income/assets documentation, credit and property review. Requesting and following up on required documentation Communicate with all parties involved in the transaction to keep them informed of file status Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on changes to market conditions Other projects and duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A four-year college degree Detail-oriented and extremely well organized Effective written and verbal communication skills Possess excellent follow up, planning, prioritization, organizational and excellent time management skills Able to work independently and proactively, prioritizing workload and handle multiple tasks Highly organized and motivated Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced, potentially stressful environment Minimum 2 years’ mortgage loan processing experience is preferred Experience with Encompass is a must Apply Job!
