Senior Technical Writer - Fully Remote A well-known software company in Weston, FL is seeking a Senior Technical Writer skilled to update internal and customer-facing performance support documentation. This is a contract and fully remote opportunity! Shift of the Senior Technical Writer: 8 AM – 5 PM EST (1 hour lunch) Pay Rate of the Senior Technical Writer: $40/hr Responsibilities of the Senior Technical Writer: • Work directly with the managers and technical writers to create, update, and validate customer-facing documentation • Write release notes • Create or update job aids and guides due to product releases and enhancement requests • Post documentation as needed to our CMS Qualifications of the Senior Technical Writer: • Experience with U.S. tax compliance • Ability to follow written instructions • Ability to develop technical- or software-related job aids and user guides that are easy to read and understand, accurate and up-to-date, and correctly formatted using a style guide • Knowledge of or ability to quickly pick-up use of technical writing software such as Heretto or a comparable XML-based structured authoring system Senior Technical Writers apply today!
