Certified Pharmacy Technician
PersonalRX, (https://www.personalrx.com), a rapidly growing mail order pharmacy is looking to hire certified Pharmacy Technicians who have either a CPhT certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification board-PTCB OR an EXCpT certification through the National Association of Health Professionals-NAHP (Required) and a NJ Pharmacy Technician license (Required). You do not have to stand and wait on customers all day long and your job responsibilities are varied depending on your experience. Job Responsibilities ? Enter prescriptions ? Process Prior Authorization requests if needed and enter required information into the system once a response is received ? Enter test claims for new potential patients to determine their copays ? Update patient notes as needed ? Bill medications as directed from Transition Care team ? Create Fill list for medications that are billed and need to be shipped ? Process prescriptions and assist with discharge patients ? Perform data entry for outside pharmacy company (Phil Rx) All functions or duties of the registered pharmacy technicians shall be performed under the direct supervision of the pharmacists on duty. The pharmacists on duty will be working in close proximity with the registered pharmacy technicians to ensure adequate control or supervision and shall verify and document registered pharmacy technician work. Note: All staff may be cross trained in another related pharmacy jobs. Expected schedule/hours: forty per week. Monday-Friday. First shift! No nights/weekends!
