Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, proactively communicating with vendors to ensure timely payments.
• Set up new vendors, including collecting W-9 forms and verifying bank information, in collaboration with the purchasing department.
• Maintain accurate vendor master records and upload all change documents to the internal network.
• Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve purchase order discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end audits by providing comprehensive accounts payable support.
• Process payment runs for checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and adapt to changing priorities.
